FORMULA 1 TURKISH GRAND PRIX GRANDSTANDS
As Spor Sanayi A.Ş., we successfully delivered the grandstand project for the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix, including the design, manufacturing, and installation of 1,250 VIP & Lounge seating areas, 24,000 fixed grandstand seats, and a 50,000-seat modular steel grandstand system.
The project was successfully completed and delivered within just six months, including all manufacturing and on-site installation processes.
PROJECT APPROACH
Covering an area of approximately 12,700 m², the grandstand systems were designed and implemented to accommodate a total capacity of 75,000 spectators, enabling them to watch the races simultaneously.
The grandstand seating products used in the project were selected from specialized and internationally experienced manufacturers with proven product quality and technical expertise in the sports facilities sector. The selection criteria included ergonomics, durability, UV and solar radiation resistance, minimal risk of breakage, ease of cleaning, and long-term performance.
The seating products selected for the project have been used in numerous international sports events across approximately 18 countries and have established a proven track record in the sports facilities industry. Their resistance to outdoor environmental conditions, together with a minimum five-year warranty against solar radiation, supported the project's objectives for long-term performance and sustainable use.
Overall, the project was developed and delivered based on key criteria including high spectator capacity, rapid implementation, modular construction technology, internationally recognized material selection standards, and operational efficiency.
