Bodrum Castle Amphitheatre
One of the
world’s prominent tourism destinations, Bodrum is home to Bodrum Castle, a site
of significant historical and cultural value. The project, located within the
1st-degree protected archaeological site surrounding Bodrum Castle, was
designed and implemented with a strong emphasis on preserving the historical
character of the area and minimizing intervention to the existing environment.
As part of
the project, a fully modular system was developed that required no excavation,
earthworks, or permanent reinforced-concrete foundations. All structural
components were engineered and manufactured at our factory, then carefully
assembled on site using specially designed connection solutions, without
causing any damage to the existing ground or the historic surroundings.
Throughout
the design process, particular attention was given to creating a modern and
safe viewing area while ensuring harmony with the unique historical character
and architectural identity of Bodrum Castle. As a result, the structure was
positioned in a way that complements the historic setting without overshadowing
it, respecting the existing heritage and surrounding architecture.
The seating
and wooden elements used in the project were specially manufactured and sourced
from internationally recognized manufacturers with expertise in their
respective fields, before being seamlessly integrated into our system. The
materials were selected based on criteria including aesthetics, comfort,
durability, and long-term performance.
